Job Summary
Assist the teacher in instructing and interpreting for non-English speaking students; performing Spanish translation tasks and serving as a resource to other school personnel requiring assistance with non-English speaking persons. Instructs students individually or in groups with lesson assignments under the direction of a certificated teacher (e.g. modifying lessons, tutoring, etc.} for the purpose of presenting and/or reinforcing learning concepts.
Requirements / Qualifications
1. High School diploma or GED 2. Ability to speak and translate Spanish and English. 3. Six months experience working with children in a supervisory capacity, volunteer experience is accepted to meet the requirement. 4. Passing score on written examination.
