Job Summary
Under the direction of the Cabinet, plan, develop, organize, and administer the District's public information program, responsible for the broad areas of public information, media liaison, and printed or electronic publications regarding the District.
Requirements / Qualifications
1) Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, or closely related field. 2) Minimum of 3 years' experience in marketing, community relations, and/or communications, preferably in the non-profit sector. 3) Experience working in community relations, public information or corporate relations preferred. 4) Spanish-Bilingual Preferred. The following documents are required:
- Copy of Transcript (Bachelor's Degree - Preferably in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, or closely related field)
- Letter of Introduction
- Letter(s) of Recommendation ( Three (3) Letters, dated & signed (wet signature) within the last 2 years of posting date. Must include, name, telephone number, and email address.)

WORK LOCATION: District Office
WORK SCHEDULE: 8.0 hours per day, 5.0 days per week, 12. months per year
Sick leave is earned at a rate of 12 days annually and vacation is earned at a rate of 20 days annually. There is an available insurance policy for hospitalization, major medical, dental, vision, and life. School employees must join the State School Employees Retirement System.
