Under general direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Business Services, to plan, organize, manage and participate in the accounting, budgeting and fiscal record management and reporting activities and functions; to supervise, review and evaluate the performance of accounting and purchasing personnel; to perform the more technical and specialized accounting, budgeting and financial record management and reporting functions; and to do other related work as required.
Requirements / Qualifications
*** Three letters of recommendation are required with application. *** • Possession of a valid California Driver’s License.
Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and skills is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and skills would be: Experience: Four years of responsible accounting and financial record management and reporting experience, including one year in an educational organization management or supervisory capacity. Education: Equivalent to the completion of a Bachelor of Arts or higher degree from an accredited institution, including emphasis in accounting, budget planning, business management or closely related fields.
