Provide proactive, collaborative leadership in the development, execution, support, and evaluation of a robust and comprehensive information technology (IT) system focusing on innovation, efficiency, and implementation of effective 21st century telecommunication and technology practices that will aid the District in providing the highest quality educational programs and services; serve as a member of the Superintendent’s Cabinet; and assist with developing system-wide budget, plans, policies and activities.

TRAINING, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field. Five years progressively responsible experience in management and development of complex information systems. Advanced degrees are preferred. Preference will be given for experience in an educational environment, including recent experience in information systems, telecommunications, network planning and implementation, applications, and end-user support. Prior administrative experience in a school district is preferred. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid California driver’s license, provide personal automobile, and proof of insurance; Administrative Services Credential preferred. Must be willing to attend evening/weekend meetings and/or activities.
