Job Summary

Job Summary

The Deputy Executive Director will assist the Executive Director in all of the day-to-day development, management, and oversight of Connecting Waters Charter Schools. The Deputy Executive Director will effectively and professionally support all staff in the areas of assessment, guidance, education services, support services, contract programs, safety and facilities, curriculum and instructional program at the Tk-12 levels as they serve the staff and families. They will facilitate and manage the schools social media and marketing plans. They will be committed to maintain and support the school’s mission, vision, goals and provide parent educational choice and flexibility. They will model support and loyalty to the Executive Director and Board of Directors. They will facilitate the proper custodial support for all school sites, exhibit the ability to work with little or no oversight and be forward thinking. The Deputy Executive Director must have the confidence and ability to serve as the Executive Director in the Executive Director’s absence. They must be committed to taking over the role of the Executive Director as the position becomes available.

Copies of Transcripts, Credentials, and Degrees Education and/or Experience: - Fifth year college or university program certificate credential with a Master’s degree in Education; or equivalent combination of education and administrative experience. - Administrative Credential desirable - Prior principal experience desirable - Post-secondary experience desirable - Two years teaching experience and/or three years in an administrative capacity - Worked with culturally diverse backgrounds is desirable

          $1,000 Master's Degree stipend, $2,000 Doctorate stipend, and health benefits available. Full-time benefit allotment of $1,500/month for medical, vision, and dental. CalSTRS retirement. Job provides flexibility, creativity, and innovation. Connecting Waters is a TK-12 grade independent public charter school that services the following counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Santa Clara, San Mateo, San Francisco, San Joaquin, Stanislaus Calaveras, Mariposa, Merced, and Tuolumne.
