Job Summary
The goal of San Leandro USD’s Instructional Coaches is to increase the opportunities for student success by inspiring excellence in the teaching profession. To ensure all SLUSD teachers have the opportunity to reach their full potential, the Instructional Coaches look to build teacher capacity through trusting and collaborative relationships. The Instructional Coaches support teachers by providing opportunities for planning and reflection on their instruction, professional development, collaboration, and the implementation of the district’s initiatives that will lead to long term district-wide professional growth. Elementary Reading or Math Specialization and prior coaching or educational leadership experience at the site or district level is preferred.

Credential Required: Multiple Subject, Single Subject or Special Education Credential with EL Authorization.
