Job Summary
The job of "Campus Safety Assistant" is done under the direction of the School Principal, assist in the security and supervision of students in or around campus buildings, facilities and adjacent areas; patrol school grounds and surrounding areas; assist with school discipline and attendance programs.
Requirements / Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent. One year prior job related experience paid or volunteer with school age children preferred. Basic First Aid and CPR Certificate.

This position is 6.0 hours per day at Big Bear Middle School.
Successful applicants must obtain and/or provide the following before beginning employment:
Fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and/or FBI
Proof of Tuberculosis clearance
Social Security Card for payroll purposes
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Employment with the Bear Valley Unified School District is not complete or official until applicants meet all pre-employment requirements, including Board of Trustee approval.
