The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in adult professional learning and school improvement, proven experience and/or training in coaching, possess advanced knowledge of culturally responsive practices, experience as a secondary school administrator (ideally with some experience at the high school level), and understand current changes in pre-service preparation. This position will collaborate and be an active team member within the Professional Learning and Leadership (PLL) department and the Office of School Performance more broadly to meet a variety of goals. Minimum Qualifications: *A Bachelor’s degree and a valid Oregon Administrator License or the ability to receive one within 90 days of hire. *5 years of successful principal experience, 3 years of experience in facilitating adult professional learning. *Demonstrate an understanding of root causes for achievement disparities; Knowledge of adult practices that address root causes and eliminate achievement disparities; Formal RESJ or racial equity training that can be verified; Formal training in disciplined inquiry.
