Requirements / Qualifications

Charter Community School Home Study Academy (CCSHSA), under the direction of EDCOE Charter Alternative Programs, is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team. CCSHSA consists of two distinct middle and high school programs serving a diverse group of students. CCSHSA is comprised of Charter University Prep/Charter Connections Academy and Charter College and Career Prep. This position is funded by two grants: California Community Schools Grant and the Middle College High Schools Grant. A primary focus of the position centers on the strong development of connections with community organizations and resources, as well as Folsom Lake College. The primary responsibility of the Program Lead will be to proactively engage with local businesses, community organizations and Folsom Lake College to foster collaborative relationships with new partners across the county. This position will lead planning and outreach efforts. Duties will include: - Lead planning and outreach to community organizations and connected community members - Oversee special projects, i.e., transition to a Middle College High School format - Serve as liaison to local schools - Meet regularly with representatives of the local community college - Plan and facilitate trainings and coordinate planning meetings - Hold informational meetings for prospective families - Partner with our enrollment specialists to lead efforts and raise awareness about options - Meet individually with prospective students and families - Take initiative on project development and continuous improvement - Identify the needs of students and families and plan support services to be offered - Coordinate and provide support and outreach to families in need of county resources

Job Requirements - Qualifications Experience: Prior job-related experience preferred Education: - A.A. degree or equivalent and 12 E.C.E. units preferred - Experience as an instructor in a child daycare or in an educational setting required.
