Job Summary

Job Summary

The part-time carpentry instructor is responsible for instruction to Adult Career Technical Education students in Carpentry, part of the Building and Construction Trades, supporting student progress, and promoting and managing a safe environment. This position reports directly to the school principal.

Requirements / Qualifications

Valid California Designated Subject CTE Credential in Building & Construction Trades

The following items must be up in order to complete the application process: • Completed Edjoin Application • Personal letter of application giving reasons for being interested in this position • Current resume • 3-5 current letters of recommendation • Copies of appropriate licenses and/or credentials on 'View Job Description' for more information DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Current Certificate of completion from the Southwest Mountain States Carpenters (or equivalent); • Minimum 1 year of experience teaching carpentry • Experience in a supervisory role on construction sites • OSHA 10, OSHA 30, CPR & First Aid certified.
