THE POSITION This is a remote position that requires in-person travel to various sites in California approximately or estimated at between 5-25%.

The Professional Learning & Instructional Support Division is now accepting applications for Director III - School Health Systems & Medical Billing. Under the direction of assigned Administrator, researches and develops programs and provides training related to financing and sustaining school-based health programs; works in partnership with managed care plans, the Department of Behavioral Health Services, other government agencies, and districts to support blending and braiding of funds to support sustainable care on school campuses; provides technical, specialized, consultative, advisory and planning services in the area of claims submission and reimbursement for health services; serves as a resource to program representatives and school districts; directs and coordinates statewide grant distribution for billing partnerships and capacity; coordinates the Student Behavior Health Incentive Program (SBHIP) funds to support behavioral health delivery and outcomes for students; serves as the Santa Clara County Office of Education (SCCOE) lead for grants or grant projects as assigned. • Assessments and interviews will take place virtually via Zoom Meetings.
• Following the final filing date, the qualifications of all candidates will be evaluated.
• The most qualified candidates will be invited to participate in a written exam, tentatively scheduled for July 12, 2023.
• Those who pass the written exam will be invited to participate in an oral examination with subject matter experts, tentatively scheduled for July 21, 2023.
• Based on the final scores of qualified candidates, Classified Personnel Services will establish a ranked candidate list.
• Selected candidates from the list will be invited to a second interview with the hiring authorities, tentatively scheduled for the week of July 24, 2023..
