Job Summary

The AT Promise Student Outreach Teacher provides increased early interventions specifically for our Native American, Foster Youth, Homeless, and other at promise students experiencing academic, social-emotional, or behavioral patterns that may be impacting their ability to access their learning. The teacher will help provide an engaging, positive, and nurturing environment to support students and families with their needs through the Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports, empowering the students social/emotional and behavioral supports aligned to the district's Transformational Justice Model.

Successful applicants for this position will be required to submit proof of vaccination against COVID-19 or request an exemption for qualifying medical or religious reasons during the onboarding process. Applicants should not present proof of vaccination until directed to do so by the District’s Human Resources Office.

1. Experience: A least three (3) years of successful classroom teaching experience and successful experience in one or more of the following assignments: advisor, counselor, department chairperson, teacher on special assignment. 2. Education: Bachelor of Arts/Science Degree from an accredited institution of higher learning; Official Transcripts. Master's Degree desirable. See attached Job Description for more details.
