Under the supervision of the Administrator of Instructional Programs, students will learn the fundamentals of culinary arts and then be placed at local restaurants. Students will gain industry-relevant knowledge and skills in working kitchens serving meals to customers. Students will enhance interpersonal skills, participate as team members, work with diverse populations, and exercise leadership. The internship class requires the teacher to visit intern locations for student follow-up.
