Nine month, full-time positions are available for AmeriCorps members to serve as mentors in Delano, Lost Hills, McFarland, and Wasco schools starting September 1, 2023 and ending May 31, 2024. Applicants must be available to serve site-specific schedules during the term of service. Requirements / Qualifications Please upload a current resume to your application. Upon hiring, program will request the following: 1. Proof of high school diploma or equivalent 2. College transcripts or diploma (if available) 3. Proof of US citizenship, US national, or lawful permanent resident 4. Attendance at a local orientation (accommodations may be considered) Comments and Other Information The Kern Community Mentoring AmeriCorps program is administered by CaliforniaVolunteers and sponsored by the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) with support from The California Endowment.
