Job Summary

The Principal, Muir Elementary School, is directly responsible for instructional leadership, academic program success, and the administration, management, and operation of the school. Must have knowledge of the elementary school curriculum. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills. Experience working with an ethnically diverse population of families. Applicants must be committed to leading a collaborative school-based management setting. Muir Elementary School is a dual language immersion school, supporting instruction in Spanish. The principal should have experience in dual-language immersion instruction. Proficiency in a second-language, especially the school’s target language is desired.
