** There is an opportunity for more hours as needed from the site. Job Summary: Under the direction of the Site Administrator, provide basic first aid and screen ill or injured students in accordance with District policies, rules and regulations related to health care of students; prepare and maintain student health records; perform a variety of clerical duties in support of student health services. Education and Experience: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and one year of clerical or health office experience. Some experience working with school age children in an organization setting or learning environment is preferred. Licenses and other Requirements: Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate. Knowledge: Basic health office practices, terminology, procedures and equipment. Health and safety regulations. Emergency first aid and CPR procedures. Modern office practices, procedures and equipment. Record-keeping techniques. Operation of a variety of standard office equipment including a computer and assigned software. Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy. Applicable laws and school district regulations related to health care of students.
