Job Summary
Job Summary
The incumbent is responsible for conducting the designated IEP meetings as an administrator and is responsible for developing the IEP documents to ensure compliance with federally mandated law in the individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act (IDEIA, 2004) and portions of the California State Education Code pertaining to students with exceptional needs. The incumbent is expected to work cooperatively with school administration to support one another and the organization as a whole.
Requirements / Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Masters Degree in Education or equivalent experience Credentials/Certifications: Possession of a Level 2 Education Specialist credential or other related credential authorizing service to special education students Experience: Three (3) years of related experience APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS - Application via EdJoin - Letter of Interest - Current Resume - Unofficial copies of credentials, certifications and/or transcripts reflecting the position requirements
