Job Summary

Job Summary

Under general supervision and evaluation of the Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) Director or designee, provides educationally related physical therapy services to students with various disabilities according to the students’ Individualized Education Program (IEP). The Physical Therapist participates as a member of the educational team; provides assessment, consultation, and direct physical therapy services to students within educational, developmental, and functional parameters; and develops and implements physical therapy intervention plans.

  • Copy of Transcript (Graduation from an approved school of physical therapy and California license as a Physical Therapist; clinical affiliation in pediatrics is desirable.)

  • Letter of Introduction
  • Letter(s) of Reference (Three Required; preferably from former employers or supervisors.)
  • Resume (One-year experience working with children in a physical therapy or educational setting.)
