A substitute employee is an individual hired with the understanding that his/her association with the Adelanto Elementary School District will be on a substitute basis, as needed, because of the absence of a permanent or probationary employee. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED TO APPLY: Education • High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience • None Desired (preference will be given to applicants with experience): Any combination of training, education and/or experience that demonstrates knowledge and ability to perform the duties of the job. FINGERPRINT CHECK State law requires all employees to be fingerprinted for the purpose of a confidential background investigation. Fingerprinting is done by the district office at applicant's expense. A $32 Money Order will be due on day of fingerprinting. TO APPLY: Outside Candidates Complete and submit EDJOIN application. The required document listed below MUST be attached to your application at the time of submission. Documents attached after application is submitted may not be considered. • Proof of High School Graduation: Diploma or Equivalent (transcripts in lieu of certification/diploma ok) • Two Letters of Recommendation (desired) Our District requires a complete application and that all materials to be considered as part of your application packet be submitted online with your application. Tuberculosis Report Per Education Code 49407, all employees (substitute and regular employees) must also submit a current clear TB report prior to first day of employment.
