Possess California Single Subject Math Credential (or be enrolled in a university program and intern eligible); - Enjoy working with middle school students; - Demonstrated classroom excellence, differentiated instruction & student-centered methodologies; - Commitment to the mission and values of New LA; - Actively engage with and support the school's social justice mission and demonstrates a commitment to intersectional, anti-racist education; - Be flexible and be a team player; - Positive outlook, enjoy collaborating with colleagues and appreciate different points of view; - Bilingualism a plus.
