Job Summary: West Contra Costa Adult Education is seeking instructor(s) to support teaching candidates preparing for the California Basic Education Skills Test (CBEST) and the California Subject Examination for Teacher (CSET). Course schedule will be determined on instructor availability. Generally the class will run twice a week one evening plus a Saturday, two to three hours per session. Instructors will provide direct instruction, utilize practice exams, develop study plans, and provide successful test taking strategies.

Please submit an EdJoin application, letter of interest, current resume, copy of CA teaching credential, a copy of English Learner Authorization (CLAD or equivalent), a copy of transcripts showing evidence of a BA degree, copy of CBEST and/or CSET and 2-3 letters of recommendation dated within the past year.
A California teaching credential is required. An Adult Education Designated Subjects or CTE credential is preferred.
