St. Bernard's Catholic School is in search of a long-term substitute to teach English Language Arts in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. 

Requirements include:

* California Teaching Credential or enrollment in a credential program preferred

* Teaching experience preferred

* Knowledge of curriculum & instruction, classroom management, and lesson planning

* Effective and age-appropriate classroom management techniques 

* Address the needs of all learners 

* Maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning

* Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with parents regarding student progress

* Be an individual who shares our mission and shares a love of our students
