          Lassen Community Day School is a 9-12 grade school within Lassen Union High School District located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in Susanville, CA, which is approximately 2 hours from Redding, CA or 1.5 hours from Reno, NV. At Lassen Community Day School students are offered classes in a safe environment where they have access to smaller class room size and professionals who can assist students with their unique needs. Beginning the 2023-2024 school year, all new teachers who sign teaching contracts with Lassen Union High School District will be paid a $2,500 signing bonus. After successful completion of the first year, and a signed contract for the second year you will be paid an additional $2,500 for a combined total of $5,000. The District pays $1,166 per month towards the benefit package for full-time teachers. Salary Placement: Effective for new unit members hired for the 2016-2017 school year and thereafter, the District will grant up to a maximum of fifteen (15) years. 15 or more years is step 16.
