Job Summary

West Contra Costa Adult Education is seeking instructors for its Community Interest program. If you have a special talent, skill, hobby, or interest and knowledge in a given subject and would like to teach a class to our adult community, we'd love to hear from you. We offer exercise classes, computer classes, arts & crafts, music, languages and so much more. Classes run daily, weekly, quarterly and/or yearly. The choice is yours when to offer your classes. No teaching credentials or certificates are required. Classes are fee based, therefore minimum enrollment may be required.

1) Please provide a letter of application wherein you describe the course you would like to teach and give reasons why it is important or beneficial to the community. The letter should indicate the number and length of sessions for your proposed course. You may also provide this information in the supplemental questions within this application. 2) A course outline completed to the best of your ability and knowledge of our adult education programs. Please complete the supplemental questions within this application to the best of your ability. 3) An updated resume with experience/training that is relevant to the proposed course.
