The Pope Valley Union Elementary School District invites candidates to apply for the position of Superintendent/Principal. The Board is seeking an energetic, highly qualified educator with superior interpersonal and communication skills, and a record of success to serve as its next leader. This candidate will possess a balance of leadership skills including team building expertise and the ability to cultivate strong, trusting, interpersonal relationships to ensure collaborative interactions with the Board, staff, students, parents, community, and governmental agencies. The new Superintendent/Principal will be highly visible and active in the school and community while managing the operations of the district/school site. The new Superintendent/Principal will be a positive, proactive leader responsible for developing and implementing educational vision for the District. The candidate must have experience with human resource and fiscal management with sound strategic and long range planning skills and curriculum planning, articulation, and evaluation of educational programs. The Board desires an individual who will provide strong leadership with empathy and care to ensure that all students are well prepared for the 21st century.
