About the Employer

We are a unified school district serving more than 16,150 students in grades K -12. We have thirteen elementary schools, four middle schools, two comprehensive high schools, three specialized high schools, two alternative high schools and one K-8 school. We also offer a home schooling program, adult education courses and other unique programs to fit the needs of all students. Our school district employs approximately 1,100 certificated and nearly 900 classified employees. All levels below duties to include schedule activities, prepare charts and records, prepare teaching aids, perform checks and maintenance of equipment, type and duplicate material for classroom use, and assist with scheduling. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Level 1 Salary Range 137 Currently enrolled in college program leading towards an AA or BA degree in Speech and Language Pathology. Completion of 45 semester units with a minimum of 21 semester units in any combination of the following: Communication Disorders, Early Childhood Development, or Working with Special Needs.* Immediate supervision or direct on an approved plan *Provide direct treatment *Follow treatment plans *Collect data *Assist with informal documentation Level 2 Salary Range 139 Completion of BA degree in Speech and Language Pathology with less than 80 hours of clinical supervision. * Immediate supervision or direct on an approved plan *Provide direct treatment *Follow treatment plans *Collect data *Assist with informal documentation Level 3 Salary Range 141 AA degree or completion of 2 year college certification program for Speech/Language Pathologist Assistants and eligible for a State Speech /Language Pathologist Assistant License or possession of a BA degree in Speech and Language Pathology with 80 hours of clinical supervision.
