Come and join our dedicated Maintenance and Operations team as Lead Maintenance Tech HVAC emphasis! The Lead Maintenance Tech HVAC emphasis will work under minimal supervision and assist the Maintenance and Operations team. The role involves planning and performing inspection, service, repair, and installation of heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment, as well as other maintenance work as required. Representative duties include inspecting and repairing equipment, calibrating controls and thermostats, performing carpentry, electrical and plumbing work, and monitoring district radio communication networks. The Lead Maintenance Tech should have knowledge of the methods, practices, and materials used in several areas of the building trades including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting repairs, as well as safe use and operation of a variety of tools and equipment used in building and equipment repair/maintenance. The successful candidate must have strong communication skills, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and diagrams, and be able to perform basic arithmetical calculations.
