Starts at $72,519 annually. New hires typically start at step 1, however, fully credentialed teachers with significant at-risk experience may be placed on step two or three upon hire at the discretion of administration.
Length of Work Year
213 work days per year, Monday - Friday, 7 hours per day. School schedule has two sessions per year. 1st session: Mid-July to mid-December; 2nd session: Mid-January to mid-June.

Requirements / Qualifications

1. A valid California Education Specialist (Mild/Moderate, Moderate/Severe, or equivalent) credential, or other Special Education Credential with a resource specialist certificate/authorization or agreement to obtain resource specialist authorization. 2. Two years' professional training and/or experience with special education students. 3. A valid California driver's license.
