Qualifications: • Credential: Valid California Education Specialist credential, Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe. • Education: Bachelor's degree; Master's degree preferred; learning management systems, testing and evaluation, and fiscal management desirable. • Experience: Special education, counseling other district program supervision responsibilities; administrative experience preferred; bilingual ability desirable.

          Comments and Other Information

          The District offers health benefits for both employee and family. There are five plans that the employee can choose from. Each plan offers a different level of coverage and cost. The negotiated settlement that the District pays for the annual cap for health benefits for certificated staff is $14,500.00. If an employee chooses a plan in which the cost is lower than the annual cap, the employee will receive the difference in pay. Medical plans range from low deductible PPO plans to high deductible plans. Composite rate to cover your family members and/or registered domestic partners. Dental plans are on an incentive tier (Plan pays coinsurance at 70% for the first year and increases by 10% each year that the member visits the dentist, to a maximum of 100%). Dental plans have an unlimited annual plan maximum dollar amount. Vision coverage co-pays are $20 per exam and $25/materials. Members may get an exam every 12 months and materials every 24 months. Employees have a $20,000 life insurance policy, with an option to increase the policy amount and add coverage for family members. The District contributes 19.10% for participation in the State Teachers Retirement System. Master’s stipend of $1,500 annually Bilingual ability stipend for BCLAD - $1500 or passage of LCOE bilingual test $750 oral, $750 written District pays ACSA dues
