The El Dorado County Office of Education, a recognized leader in providing high-quality alternative educational programs, is looking for a talented individual to join our team as a part-time (0.80 FTE) Secretary in the Charter College and Career Prep (CCP) office located on the campus of the El Dorado County Office of Education. The CCP program also acts as the El Dorado community school, for an average of 120 students. Duties include receiving parents and students in an efficient and respectful manner, answering phones, providing helpful information, fielding calls, managing cumulative files, mail distribution, tracking and reporting for the school lunch program, securing and auditing Independent Study logs, and entering attendance into the database system. Aeries experience is helpful. CCP is an alternative program designed with the whole child approach which includes smaller class sizes, more 1:1 assistance, independent study and direct instruction opportunities, and multiple choices for a flexible schedule. Students are scheduled in a flex model and attend school 1-4 days per week, Monday through Thursday. CCP also offers Advanced Education classes at Folsom Lake College, opportunities for early graduation, credit recovery and many other wrap around services. CCP is a supportive environment where building strong relationships with students and families is the foundation of our program.

Education Required: High School diploma or equivalent. Experience Required: Prior secretarial experience. Please include the following with a completed application:
