To be considered, the candidate must provide: -A fully completed application form. -Finalists will be required to submit official transcripts for all earned degrees. -A copy of all credentials held. -A letter of application. -A résumé. -Three current letters of recommendation. -Essay responses to two writing prompts: 1. What has motivated you to apply specifically for the role of Superintendent of the Clovis Unified School District? (300 words maximum) 2. Describe a substantial challenge you faced in the educational environment within the past five years and describe the leadership strategies you employed to navigate that challenge? (500 words max). All materials will be acknowledged and treated confidentially.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE -Experience as a teacher, principal, district office or executive level administrator and/or superintendent is desired. -Experience as a school/district administrator in the State of California is required. -A doctorate in Education Leadership is preferred.
