Teach assigned lessons and supervise students at the clinical site for our evening/weekend CNA program under the guidance of the current program director for the Spring 2023 semester (January - June 2023) and then teach CNA courses independently beginning in Fall 2023. Textbook is Nursing Assisting: A Foundation in Caregiving, 5th Edition, ISBN: 9781604251210.

Professional Expert Qualifications > Current license as a nurse in California (RN or LVN) > Two (2) years of nursing experience (RN or LVN) > One (1) year verifiable experience as a licensed nurse providing care and services to chronically ill or elderly patients in an acute care hospital, skilled nursing facility, intermediate care facility, home care, hospice care, or other long-term care setting. > Completion of a course in teaching adults OR > One year of verifiable experience in teaching adults OR > One year of verifiable experience supervising nurse aides OR > Willingness to complete a course in teaching adults Certificated Teacher Qualifications > Professional expert Qualifications above AND > Designated Subjects Career Technical Education Teaching Credential: Health Science and Medical Technology
