Job Summary
The Allied Health Clinical Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the administration of the school's allied health programs, particularly in the areas of clinical preparation and rotations. The Clinical Coordinator must have regular and consistent contact with students, faculty, clinical affiliates, and assure the general effectiveness of clinical experiences for students enrolled in the allied health programs. The Clinical Coordinator works closely with the program directors and instructors within the allied health department and reports to the Assistant Principal of Allied Health.

Professional Expert Qualifications > Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) verification by the National Board for Respiratory Care Credential AND > Valid California State Respiratory Care Board Respiratory Care Practitioner License AND > Baccalaureate degree from an academic institution accredited by a regional or national accrediting agency that is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (USDE) AND > Minimum of four (4) years' experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist with at least two (2) years in clinical respiratory care AND > Minimum of two (2) years' experience teaching in an accredited respiratory care program either as an appointed faculty member or as a clinical preceptor. Certificated Instructor Qualifications > Professional Expert qualifications above AND > Current California Adult Education Teaching Credential: Health Science & Medical Technology OR > Current California Career Technical Education Teaching Credential: Health Science & Medical Technology
