Job Summary

Do you have experience serving and preparing food? Do you have experience leading a food service program? Are you looking for a job with excellent benefits? Become a part of the Food Service Department! Under the direction of the Director – Food Services; assist with day-to-day activities and operations of the food service department throughout the district. Arrange for substitutes as needed for optimal production and support food service staff with menu implementation and culinary oversight; support nutrition education for students and staff with the goal of ensuring that all the food served is of the highest possible nutritional quality.

Education and Experience: * Any combination equivalent to training or experience equivalent to: graduation from high school supplemented by college coursework in nutrition, food management, marketing, public relations, or a relative field. And/ or two years ‘of recent, full time equivalent, related experience. Experience in school nutrition programs is desirable. Licenses and other Requirements: * A valid Class C California Driver's License and evidence of appropriate insurance. * Valid ServSafe certificate or equivalent. * Employees must participate in available training and complete required continuing education/training hours to meet USDA professional standards.
