Job Summary
Under the direction of the Superintendent, the Chief Business Official serves as controller by closely monitoring the district’s financial health; develops and maintains the District budget; prepares financial projections and reports; performs accounting and financial reporting to ensure fiscal compliance with all federal, state and local regulations. The CBO also oversees and supervises the Business Services, Food Services, Information Technology, and Transportation departments.

Three letters of reference signed and dated within the last two years EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience • CBO Certification Preferred • Experience in a school district environment, with experience in most areas of business services division. • At least 3 years of experience in positions requiring business skills. • At least one year of experience in public/charter schools
