Written Exams:

01/26/23 – District’s NCLB exam (English & Math) & Para. - P.E. General Knowledge exam. If you have previously passed one or both of the required exams, you must attach the exam results to your application.

          SUMMARY Under the direction of the Principal/Recess Coordinator, assist a certificated teacher in reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups of students in a physical education classroom or outdoor environment; assist in the preparation of instructional materials and implementation of lesson plans; set-up equipment for physical education classes and sports activities; perform routine clerical and supportive tasks for instructional personnel. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school supplemented by college level units in physical education, recreation, education or related field and one year of experience in assisting teachers in a classroom and with children in an educational or organized learning environment, such as Paraprofessional in the District. CPR and First Aid certification are required within 30 days of hire.
