*** See job description for details*** MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: • Possession of a valid California Multiple Subject Credential; • Outstanding and/or highly satisfactory summary evaluations; • Strong knowledge of ELD and content standards; • Successful experience working with diverse student and parent populations; • Experience with curriculum design and development as well as development of dual immersion programs at school sites; • Experience in group facilitation and in designing and conducting professional development workshops; • Experience as a classroom teacher ideally in a dual immersion program and/or public school, district; coaching and/or mentoring bilingual, immersion and ELD teachers; planning and facilitating equity-centered professional development; addressing equity issues related to access and achievement; working with English Learners; coordinating and organizing equity-centered educational and community resources; working successfully with multiple audiences, including school-based administrators, teachers, parents/community members and students; participation in professional organizations, district and state initiatives; identifying innovative, promising, and best practices for creating successful and sustainable development opportunities for educators. • Excellent skills in written and oral communication, organization and time management. • Desired Qualifications: o Experience working with site administrators and/or leadership teams to support dual immersion programs; o Experience as a facilitator, coach, and/or presenter; o Experience as a mentor teacher or BTSA coach; o Experience with English Learner professional development initiatives; o Experience using multimedia for the integration of technology into the classroom.
