Job Summary
The Library Clerk maintains the library media center at a school site; assists students and staff with library media center equipment and resources; performs clerical functions related to collection, processing, circulation, maintenance, and inventory of library media center materials and textbooks; and promoting library media center usage.
Requirements / Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of library methods, terminology and basic computer use. Library or school media experience or a minimum of 30 College Units in lieu of library experience. Three months experience working with children in a supervisory or training capacity. High School Graduate or equivalent. Passing score must be achieved on written exams.
