This job opportunity is for Flex Teacher or Associate Teacher. To be considered for the Flex Teacher position, you must hold a valid Emergency 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit, or a CA teaching credential (e.g. intern, preliminary). The Flex Teacher position is a great opportunity for individuals working towards teacher accreditation. A Flex Teacher will have an opportunity to observe best practices in classroom instruction from experienced teachers and school leaders at a leading charter school. They observe and learn from Master Teachers, provide in-house substitute teaching coverage for teachers, and support teachers with tutoring, assessing, grading, and individual or small group student instruction. A Full-Time Flex Teacher may float from classroom to classroom throughout the day or may be assigned to one or more classrooms for a portion to a full day to cover absences and other situations. To be considered for the Associate Teacher position, you must hold a valid CA teaching credential (e.g. preliminary, clear). As an Associate Teacher, you will support grade level teachers with small-group pull-outs and in-classroom supports. Associate Teachers have the ability to continue learning from teachers in multiple learning environments to enhance their skills as educators.
