THE POSITION: Under the direction of the Chief Human Resources Officer, the Director II, Human Resource Services, shall plan, organize, and direct personnel programs and projects in the Human Resource Services Department; plan, organize, and manage the development of strategic, operational procedures for personnel staffing, assignments, transfers, employee record management, layoff functions in a reduction in force, and other related activities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Education: A Master’s degree in education, personnel administration, or a closely related field from an institution of higher learning accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. Experience: Five (5) years of comprehensive, directly related, and progressive administrative experience, including at least three (3) years of school site administration/district level. Extensive experience in Human Resource Management, Labor Relations, and Contract Negotiations is strongly desired. LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE (must attach a detailed certification/credential with document number to application: • Possess and maintain a valid CA Administrative Services Credential • Possess and maintain a valid Multiple Subject, Single Subject, or Education Specialist Teaching Credential
