Qualified candidates will have an interest in child development and social-emotional learning, be a creative, out-of-the-box thinker who is kind, respectful, enthusiastic, bright, energetic and loves working with children. We want to team up with a candidate who has a passion for mentoring and an art for creativity and fun. Under the direction of the Principal, the Play Coordinator will work closely with the teachers, administrators, and the site ACEs to strategically create and implement a plan during school hours as well as during the after-school program. This position will ensure there are sufficient resources to promote each of the ‘play types’ as listed in the Springs Play Guide. This position will coordinate extended play schedules and activities with Springs teaching and support staff in addition to supervising supervise students at recess and after school.
