The Mammoth Unified School District Board of Education is seeking a Superintendent who will provide leadership to ensure that all of the district’s students receive an exemplary and well-rounded educational experience in the environment that best matches their needs. The new Superintendent will be an experienced instructional leader who has proven management skills and expertise serving as a team-builder and consensus leader. The successful candidate will have the ability to: - Be an active, visible leader who values interactions with students, staff, and the community. - Collaborate with staff from all school sites to unify goals across the district. - Maintain the fiscal stability of the district and secure new grant resources. - Provide a strong understanding and guidance in Human Resources while attracting and retaining highly qualified staff. - Apply creative ideas and innovative thinking to enhance academic programs including but not limited to: Dual Immersion, Dual/Concurrent Enrollment, and Flexible Learning/Independent Study. - Ensure that the district stays current with today’s educational technology. - Provide leadership to integrate best practices, data-driven decision making, and 21st century skills into all of the district’s programs.
