Multiple choice test link will be sent after application deadline and is due by 10:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2022. Those who pass will attend practicum testing over Zoom at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 6, 2022.

Requirements / Qualifications

Pursuant to the State Public Health Officer Order of August 11, 2021 affecting all tk-12 public and private school employees, all El Dorado County Office of Education employees and substitutes are required to either provide evidence of COVID-19 vaccination or participate in weekly COVID-19 testing. EDCOE Charter Adult Education Program is looking for a talented individual to join our team. This is a classified 40 hours per week position, Monday through Friday from 8:00AM – 4:30 PM at our Adult Education Campus located in the town of El Dorado at 6187 Pleasant Valley Rd. Under the Supervision of the Adult Education Principal, this individual will perform a variety of specialized confidential, secretarial, and technical work in support of the Adult Education Program. Duties include receiving community partners and students in an efficient and friendly manner, answering phones, managing student files, ordering supplies, providing support for the various programs on the campus including accepting applications, receiving funds, setting up interviews, etc. Aeries experience is helpful. Job Purpose Statement/s: Under the Supervision of the Adult Education Principal, performs a variety of of specialized confidential, secretarial, and technical work as may be required in the support of the Charter Adult Education program. - Experience Required: Prior secretarial experience of an increasingly responsible nature. Education Required: High School diploma or equivalent.
