Monrovia Unified School District is in search of an innovative leader with a high capacity to lead the Santa Fe Computer Science Magnet School in growing the STEAM and Mandarin Dual Immersion programs to new levels of success. The candidate should have a strong track record in working with a diverse student body, school community and staff to lead for continuous improvement and student-centered culture development. Provides leadership to move groups collaboratively toward a vision of excellence. Works collaboratively and creatively with staff, students, parents and the community to provide an educational program to prepare our students for the future.

Ideal candidates will be Spanish-Bilingual, have a master's degree in Educational Leadership (doctorate preferred) and at least 3-years of secondary site-based administration (principalship experience preferred), teaching experience, strong communication skills, and organizational and team-building capacity. A minimum of three years of experience as a site-level administrator; valid California Administrative Services credential; and teaching experience in grades 6-12. A valid Class C California driver's license; an automobile to be used in the course of work; and proof of insurance is required.
Applications must include a letter of intent; three recent (within one year) letters of recommendation; and a brief statement addressing ways you plan to assist instructional staff to increase student achievement, including all significant subgroups in Monrovia.
