Job Summary
This teaching position includes 10 sick days, a generous health benefits package, and district contributions to the California State Teachers' Retirement System. Duties to include, but not limited to: develop and implement Individual Education Plans for students that are in the district's Behavior Clinic; collaborate closely with the general education teacher to align and implement current curriculum; progress and monitor goals and objectives. Physical demands: must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, sitting, sitting on the floor, standing) for extended periods of time; occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Requirements / Qualifications
Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Teaching Credential in Mild/Moderate Disabilities, autism authorization, English Learner authorization Board Approved Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification highly recommended.
