Located in North San Diego County, Escondido Union School District is home to 24 school- 17 elementary schools, 1 intermediate school, 1 specialty school, and 5 middle schools- and is a provider of the California State Preschool Program. ~ Position is a temporary position through the end of the school year ~ As a District Rover you will be covering long-term absences in General and/or Special Ed classrooms. ~ Must have a Multiple Subject and/or Education Specialist Credential *CREDENTIAL REQUIREMENT* 1. Valid California Multiple Subject Credential or Education Specialist -Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe 2. Valid English Learner Authorization REQUIRED ATTACHMENTS 1) Screenshot of CTC showing valid Multiple Subject Credential, Education Specialist Credential, and English Learner Authorization. Award Certificates are not acceptable.* 2) Letter of Introduction 3) Resume 4) Two Letters of Recommendation (minimum two written within the last 12 months) 5) Transcripts 6) Test Scores -CBEST or equivalent required. *Screening is conducted online and incomplete applications/missing required documents may be screened out.           SALARY PLACEMENT: Based on educational units and years of full-time teaching experience. Maximum placement is Class IV, Step 11 (with 10 years teaching experience). HEALTH BENEFITS: Based on selected plan/provider, full-time employees receive family medical coverage, employee life and vision, and employee or family dental coverage. Part-time employees receive benefits equal to the % worked. WORK CALENDAR: Calendar is 187 work days. All new employees are on a 11-month pay schedule. Returning employees are on a 12-month pay schedule.
