THE POSITION: Under general supervision, performs varied responsible clerical work involving thorough familiarity with policies, procedures, terminology and applicable laws; maintains complex records and files requiring use of independent judgment and initiative; answers questions that may involve research; may handle a volume of calls and personal contacts from employees and the public.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination equivalent to completion of high school and two years of increasingly complex and varied office experience involving clerical procedures, records, and typing
