GENERAL INFORMATION: Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, high quality Early Childhood/infant programing; develop and implement short- and long-term lesson plans; plan and interact with colleagues in team/group settings; communicate through verbal and non-verbal means accurately, concisely, and professionally. Write accurately, clearly, and professionally; supervise, and assist in training associate teachers and assistants; actively engage in professional development activities. Knowledge of policies, regulations, and procedures related to CA Title 5 and Title 22, and other related requirements of child development programs; working with families of diverse backgrounds; universal precautions in a child development setting; including working with children who receive special education services. *Infant, Toddler and Preschool teaching positions available. Full year, full day*

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Requires a Child Development Permit and two (2) year experience as a teacher.

• Applicants must hold or qualify to hold a Child Development Teacher Permit and must have a minimum of 24 semester units of early childhood/child development/Infant Toddler. Also including at least one course in each of the following core areas: Child/Human Growth and Development; Child, Family and Community, or Child and Family Relations; programs/curriculum plus 16 units of general education.

• Current CPR and First Aid certification cards.

• English/Spanish bilingual preferred.
