Job Summary
The job of Office Assistant is done for the purpose/s of supporting the educational process by communicating information to staff and the public; providing complete and accurate records; and providing and/or distributing information and/or direction as may be requested. Employees in this job classification perform the functions and related tasks indigenous to the work assignment and/or location in which they serve.
Requirements / Qualifications
Substitute workers are "on-call" and used to fill absences whenever an employee is out. This is not a contracted position. Subs must pay for their own fingerprint clearance ($69 cash) and pass a fit-for-duty physical exam (SUSD covers exam cost). Applications submitted will be screened to ensure application is complete and applicant meets minimum qualifications. Be sure to include any prior work experience. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
