Title of Position: Occupational Therapist Directly Responsible to: Senior Director of Learning and Support Services Status: Full-Time, Exempt Primary Function: Provides occupational therapy services to students with disabilities in accordance with IEP goals; assists in case management of services to students; maintains records and documentation. Assesses functional development level providing appropriate treatment to meet objective and recommendations for program development and student placement. Minimum Qualifications: (*) Bachelor’s Degree (*) TB Test clearance & DOJ finger printing clearance (*) Possess and maintain a California Board of Occupational Therapy License (*) Possess and maintain valid CPR and First Aid certifications

Larchmont is a constructivist school. Constructivism is a theory of learning which holds that each of us has a unique schema of the world based on our lived experience and that by interacting with our environment we make connections to what we already know and construct new meaning.
